Muglug was commissioned by the (Lower East Side) Tenement Museum to develop an application that would allow site visitors to design their own flag using parts of other flags which were meaningful to them. Using the latest Flash technology, Muglug built an application that has allowed over 40,000 people to design a flag. The site has received international press attention, and was an Official Honoree of the 2008 Webby awards.
